Reasoning Statement: During one of my observation days in Mrs. Griffith's classroom, I was able to see how she was incorporating standards while meeting the variety of needs of her students. Through her lesson I was able to watch her scaffold her learning objectives so the students were able to complete the final assignment of the unit.
Reasoning Statement: For part of my practicum, I was able to create a lesson plan that I would teach in front of my mentor teacher's students. I believe that incorporating brain-compatible activities helps create access to a variety of students with individual needs as well as creates a way for students to remember what they are being taught.
Reasoning Statement: With my resource Teach Like a Champion 2.0, a book that is being taught to staff members in PSD, I had to connect to a variety of content areas in order to teach my peers to the essence of the content. While it is important to be able to transfer these skills into any classroom, it's also important to know how to use these skills.
