Reasoning Statement: In a presentation by Dr. Nadine Burke-Harris, I was able to learn about the behavioral traits of adolescent learners, and how I as a teacher have to act in a different manner to deescalate the situation. By having this information, it helps me learn how to keep a calm classroom and help students in a more efficient manner.

Reasoning Statement: As substitution for observation because of COVID-19, i was giving feedback to example videos provided by Pearson. By doing this, I was able to watch a variety of teaching styles, give feedback of my thoughts for student learning, and help Pearson evolve their videos to be even more helpful for future educators and current educators.

Reasoning Statement: I created a hypothetical mini-lesson to refresh students knowledge on the dramatic arc. I was using a variety of technology, including Google Slides, Screencastify, and PlayPosit. Students would be able to move at their own pace and enhance their own think in a low stress environment.

Reasoning Statement: PSD has a program called AVID that helps prepare students for college and careers. In Mrs. Razz presentation, a fellow educator at Boltz, I was able to see how AVID helps foster a student's deeper thinking in a variety of content areas. This source is just an example of one of many things AVID can help students accomplish.

Reasoning Statement: During class, I was able to work with a small group of classmates to expand others knowledge on digital citizenship. We were able to show the importance of this portion of digital citizenship and collaborate together of what we thought would be the best to explore through our presentation.

Reasoning Statement: In my second phase, I have been creating mini-lessons for students of reading and writing.  By doing this, I have been able to make sure that students understand the work they are supposed to be doing, while in groups and while working independently.
