Reasoning Statement: In the AVID tutoring program, I was able to create an environment where students knew what they were coming into and knew what they were doing each day. By doing this, I was able to create a relationship with most of my students and help them in various ways during the pandemic.
Reasoning Statement: By looking at the demographics of my classroom, I am able to have a better understanding of how I can best serve my students in the classroom and make their learning happen in a positive space.
Reasoning Statement: By creating this lesson plan, the goal was to incorporate students that have a variety of different interests while working on their skills to better their understanding of reading, writing and collaborating. This lesson plan helps me as a teacher work with students in a smaller setting to see where they are at individually, as well as a whole.
Reasoning Statement: By going to a sporting event and a staff meeting, I was able to see how students have things going on beyond school and how teachers and administration are trying to make this school year the best for students. By doing this, I can work with teachers to help enrich the lives of students.
